3rd Annual Silvio Cella Family Foundation Golf Tournament

Since 2010, the Silvio Cella Family Foundation has given nearly $25,000 to eight Massachusettshigh school football programs to help improve playing conditions, increase player safety and participation, and support activities to build teamwork, pride and confidence.

On July 23, the Silvio Cella Family Foundation kicked off the 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at Ferncroft Country Club. A great crowd of golfers and supporters turned out to pay tribute to Coach Cella and support high school football inMassachusetts. Thanks to our very generous sponsors, donors and participants, the Foundation raised over $20,000 that will fund grants to high school football programs throughoutMassachusetts.

Following a day on the golf course, golfers and guests were treated to a BBQ dinner, with N.E. Patriots great Pete Brock serving as Master of Ceremonies. Pete is president of the N.E. Patriots Alumni (Patriots Alumni ), which shares the Foundation’s mission to support high school football inMassachusetts. Pete talked about the impact a high school football coach can have on his players and his community. He and Emily are great friends of the Silvio Cella Family Foundation and we thank them for their support.

Since 2010, thanks to the incredible generosity of so many, the Foundation has raised well over $75,000. The Silvio Cella Family Foundation will continue to help more teams, players and coaches be successful on the gridiron and help prepare young men for college, careers and family.
